ALL-STAR BASKETBALL GAME

The Point Breeze Universal Youth Development League is hosting an all-star event Sunday at Chew Playground, 19th Street and Washington Avenue. The Point Breeze All-Stars will face the Teddy Marris South Jersey All-Stars in 12-and under, 16-and-under and 19-and-under games. The first game will start at 1:30 p.m.

ASA SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Philadelphia ASA softball championships in men’s and women’s slow-pitch and modified fast-pitch divisions will be played Aug. 15-16. Call Ray Filoon, 215-685-8734.

CAPITOLO PLAYGROUND

The playground, located Ninth and Federal streets, is looking for teams interested in joining the women’s flag football, women’s softball, men’s softball and youth NFL Flag Football programs. DVYAA FALL BASEBALL

DVYAA is now accepting registrations for fall baseball ages 7-9 and 10-12 at Barry Playground, 18th and Johnston streets, Monday-Friday 6:30-8:30 p.m. Call 215-468-1265.

EOM FOOTBALL

The athletic association will begin registering participants for its football program for ages 6-14 at Murphy Recreation Center, Fourth and Shunk streets, beginning Tuesday at 7 p.m. Registration will continue on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. for the next four weeks. Call 215-271-1994.

EPIPHANY SOCCER

Epiphany School will hold junior-varsity and varsity tryouts Tuesday at 12th and Wharton streets. Children entering fifth through eighth grades at Epiphany are eligible to try out for the school’s coed Catholic Youth Organization teams. Call Robert Simon, 215-551-5434.

PHILADELPHIA SOCCER CLUB

POINT BREEZE BASKETBALL

SEYAA BASEBALL

The SEYAA tee-ball/baseball banquet for age divisions 4-12 will be held Sept. 21. Tickets will be sold Wednesdays and Thursdays, 6-8 p.m., at the sports complex until Sept. 1; no tickets will be sold at the door. Baseball players do not need tickets.

SEYAA SOCCER

SEYAA is accepting registration for its fall outdoor soccer program, which begins Sept. 12. Age divisions will be 4-6, 7-8, 9-11, 12-14 and 15-17. Beginners’ classes are held weekdays, 9 a.m.-noon; intermediate and advanced players attend 1-4 p.m. T-shirts, racquets and equipment are provided.
