BOCCE LEAGUES

In Tuesday’s men’s games, Pine Nuts defeated Casa dei Pazzi, 12-2, and Chef’s Market, 12-6; Camilli Chiropractors beat Cacia’s Bakery, 12-10, and Rudi’s Formal Wear, 12-9; Casa took the win over Chef’s Market, 12-7; and Rudi’s defeated Cacia’s, 12-8. Games are played at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets. The Women’s League seeks several new players for Thursday evening competition. BEACON BASKETBALL

The Beacon community program at Bok Tech High, Eighth and Mifflin streets, is offering high-school division and 13-and-under basketball leagues. DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

The Second Annual Philadelphia Dragon Boat Festival will take place Saturday on the Schuylkill River racecourse in Fairmount Park. The festival will include teams from corporations, community organizations, businesses, schools and more. Visit www.philadragonboatfestival.com.

DVYAA TOUCH FOOTBALL

EOM BASEBALL BANQUET

GOLF FOR CHRISSY

GUERIN LEAGUES

Registration is being held for the basketball league for 12 and under and 14 and under at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets. Adults are needed to help. Parents should register their children Monday-Friday, 3-8 p.m., or call the center, 215-685-1894, to make an appointment. Registration also is underway for the Guerin soccer league for 12 and under. The fee is $25, which includes a shirt and awards, due at signup.

MUMMERS GOLF

SHOT TOWER SOCCER

In the opener, the Comets defeated the Sharks 3-1. Justin Brown, John Brown and Drake Lee netted goals for the winners, while Megan Reilly, KL Keenan and Brittany Malseed hustled for the Sharks. In the nightcap, the Chargers defeated the Kixx 4-1. Mike Connel led the victors with two goals, while Austin Jenkins and Joe Doyle added a goal apiece. Sean McClosky, Mo Fiocca and Nate Burke put in a noble effort for the Kixx.

SPYL BASKETBALL

Registration is underway for the SPYL basketball league at Vare Recreation Center, 26th and Moore streets, for ages 10 and under, 12 and under and 5-8 (biddy ball).
