BOCCE LEAGUES
In Tuesday’s men’s games, Cacia’s Bakery defeated Camilli Chiropractors, 12-10, and Chef’s Market, 12-5; Casa dei Pazzi beat Rudi’s Formal Wear, 12-10, and Chef’s Market, 12-10; Rudi’s took the win over Pine Nuts, 12-10; and Pine Nuts defeated Camilli, 12-7. The men’s league plays Tuesday evenings at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets. The women’s league plays Thursdays starting at 7:30 p.m.

BEACON BASKETBALL
The Beacon community program at Bok Tech High, Eighth and Mifflin streets, is offering high-school division and 13-and-under basketball leagues. EOM BASEBALL BANQUET
The EOM baseball banquet will be held tomorrow night, 7-10, at the athletic hall, Front and Moore streets. The players who participated in pitching machine and little league and their parents are welcome to attend. Call Mike Townsend, 215-755-5349.

GUERIN LEAGUES
Registration is being held for the basketball league for 12 and under and 14 and under at Guerin Recreation Center, 16th and Jackson streets. Adults are needed to help. Parents should register their children Monday-Friday, 3-8 p.m., or call the center, 215-685-1894, to make an appointment. Registration also is underway for the Guerin soccer league for 12 and under. The fee is $25, which includes a shirt and awards, due at signup.

PALUMBO HOCKEY
The Palumbo Recreation Center, 10th and Fitzwater streets, is holding registration for its street hockey program (no skates required) for boys and girls ages 8-11. Registration will start Monday, with the program starting in mid-November. The cost is $30. Games will be played Mondays around 4 p.m. Call 215-686-1783.

PHILADELPHIA SPIRIT

SEYAA YOUTH BASKETBALL
Registration is being accepted for the organization’s basketball league, which begins the week of Jan. 5. Divisions are coed biddy basketball for ages 4-6, boys’ basketball for ages 7-8 and 9-11, and girls’ basketball for ages 7-9 and 10-12. SHOT TOWER SOCCER
In the opener, the Kixx hustled by the Sharks 3-1. Danielle Koskinas, Jaclyn Dawson and Chris Hicks scored for the winners, while Jordan Hanson, Brittany Malseed and Devon Banning were a force for the Sharks. In the second game, the Comets defeated the Chargers 3-2. Billie Leigh Brown, Brittany Dalin and Justin Brown tallied goals for the Comets, while Fred Hicks, Jason Fisher and Kyle Guidermen defended the Chargers.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS
Special Olympics Pennsylvania will host its 2003 Fall Festival at Villanova University Nov. 7-9. More than 1,000 athletes and nearly 350 coaches representing 35 counties will participate in the statewide competition. The event will feature three days of competition in such sports as bocce, long-distance running/walking, powerlifting, soccer and volleyball. SPYL BASKETBALL

UYA BASKETBALL
The Urban Youth Athletic Association will hold registration the next three Saturdays from 10 a.m.-noon at Marian Anderson Recreation Center, 17th and Fitzwater streets. UYA is a youth development program that utilizes sports as a vehicle to inspire young people to lead healthy, productive lives. The program is for boys and girls ages 6-16, and will include basketball fundamental clinics, intramural league and a referee-in-training program. Volunteer coaches are needed.
