The Neumann-Goretti girls’ basketball team entered the week 7-8 overall and 5-4 in the league.
Senior Ashley White is averaging 20 points and six assists per game and is closing in on 1,000 career points.
The Saints host Lansdale Catholic 7 p.m. Jan. 30 and close out the regular season with road games at Archbishop Wood Feb. 3 and Cardinal O’Hara Feb. 6.
PALUMBO BASKETBALL
Palumbo Recreation Center, 10th and Fitzwater streets, is accepting in-person registration for its 10-and-under in-house basketball league. The program is for ages 8 to 10 and participants can not turn 11 before the end of May. Games start Feb. 13 and will be played Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. Cost is $30. Space is limited.
