Girl groped

A man inappropriately touched a child at a South of South public swimming pool Monday.

At 2 p.m., the man approached a 9-year-old swimming at the Marian Anderson Recreation Center’s pool, 744 S. 17th St., and indecently assaulted her, according to a Special Victims Unit bulletin. The offender — described as Asian with black and gray hair and missing teeth, age 50 and slim — retreated when a nearby adult confronted him.
