Sex rejection

A woman’s skin was peeling off after her Passyunk Square roommate allegedly doused her with bleach when she denied his advances.

Roberto Soto, 79, of the 1000 block of Washington Avenue, allegedly was upset with his 68-year-old roommate at about 9:46 p.m. July 27 and subsequently threw bleach down her back as she was lying on her bed because she did not want to have intercourse with him, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The bleach caused her shirt to stick to her skin and peeled off a layer as she tried to remove the garment.

She was admitted in stable condition to Pennsylvania Hospital where police found her screaming at Soto, Tolliver said.

Soto was arrested at the hospital and charged with aggravated and simple assaults, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person.
