A man with a painted face mugged a woman at gunpoint on Halloween.
An 18-year-old woman was walking east on the 900 block of Oregon Avenue when a man, who had his face painted white, and an accompanying woman walked across Oregon toward her at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31, Detective Tamika Selden of South Detective Division said. The man pointed a black automatic handgun at her while his accomplice rummaged through her pockets and removed her iPhone. The duo fled east on foot on Oregon.
The man was described as black, age 17 to 20, 5-foot-5; having a medium build; and wearing a tan zipper hoody and blue jeans.
The female was described as black with a medium complexion, in her late teens; having a thin build and shoulder-length hair; and wearing blue jeans.
