Two kids robbed a teen who had just exited the subway in Newbold Saturday.

A 19-year-old female headed westbound on the 1400 block of Snyder Avenue after getting off of the subway when she noticed two boys on the block, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. She walked past them, and one of the boys ran off with her purse, grabbed her wallet from it and discarded the bag. The boys fled westbound on Snyder.

The teen recovered her bag, but the boys retained her wallet that contained $33 and ID, Tolliver said.

The thief was described as black with a medium complexion, age 11 to 12, 5 foot, thin, having curly hair and wearing a green Angry Birds T-shirt and tan cargo pants while his accomplice was described as black with a dark complexion, age 11 to 12, 5-foot-3, having a medium build and wearing a black and white Nike track suit and a white hat.
