Save the date. After making a very successful 2013 debut, East Passyunk Restaurant Week is booked for a return engagement Feb. 23 to March 1. There will be some serious decision making to do as 24 local establishments are signed up to participate this year. Philadelphia’s “Best Dining Neighborhood of 2013” will serve up three course, value-priced brunch, lunch and dinner menus for $15, $25 and $35 each.

Special Restaurant Week menus are scheduled to start going live Jan. 29. Participating this year are: Adobe Café, Birra, Cantina Los Caballitos, Chiarella’s, Da Vinci, El Zarape, Fond, Izumi, Karina’s, Laurel, Le Virtu, Lucky 13, Mamma Maria, Marra’s, Noir, Noord, POPE, Paradiso, Plenty, Stateside, Stogie Joe’s, South Philly Bar & Grill, Tre Scalini and Will BYOB.

“East Passyunk Restaurant Week celebrates our exciting and diverse dining scene that only keeps getting better and better,”  Renee Gilinger, executive director for the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, said. “Our award-winning chefs will return to wow diners with seasonal cuisines, experimental dishes, neighborhood favorites and signature specialties. My personal advice is to call early and make sure to come hungry. With so many great choices and amazing new talent this year, you might even want to come back for seconds and thirds.”
