Nasir McNamee, 15, and Khalil Davenport, 20, of North Philly, face murder, attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of crime, and firearms violations charges following their Monday arrest. Law enforcement officials placed them in custody for their supposed shooting of Jayvon Mitchell-Pendleton, of the 2200 block of South Lambert Street, on March 2.

On that date, 39th District officers responded to a radio call for a report of a shooting/hospital case and located the 20-year-old unresponsive on the highway due to multiple gunshot wounds. They had him transported to Temple Hospital, where personnel pronounced him at 8:57 p.m. Both suspects had their bail denied and await a March 23 hearing.
