Police have released an image in conjunction with a cargo theft that occurred almost two weeks ago.
First reported in the May 26 South Philly Review as “Tails of misfortune,” at 2:43 a.m. May 22, police responded to a call from E. Frank Hopkins Seafood, 3120 S. Third St., and learned that a store employee checked the dock and noticed a lock missing from one of the storage trailers. Video surveillance captured the images of approximately six black males of various statures and ages unloading boxes of snow crabs and lobster tails valued at $52,000, with the figures loading the goods into an unknown SUV.
