An early morning assault left a man $600 poorer in West Passyunk.
The complainant was walking to his car on the 1800 block of Snyder Avenue at 3:40 a.m. Dec. 19 when a male pushed him from behind and barked “Give me what you got,” Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. The offender struck him in the head with an unknown hard object and took his phone and wallet, which contained the aforementioned sum, and took off on foot along Snyder Avenue.
The complainant, who reported soreness to his head, described the attacker as black and in his late 20s or early 30s; having scruffy facial hair; and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
