Have a medical issue that needs immediate attention? Well, there’s a new option on South Broad Street following the Monday morning ribbon-cutting at Vybe Urgent Care (formerly known as On Demand Urgent Care). The space at 1217 S. Broad Street was previously home to Torre Big and Tall, which closed in 2014 following three decades in business. The facility provides treatment for a broad range of illnesses and injuries, with onsite X-rays, lab tests, vaccinations and physical exams available for children and adults. Mayor Jim Kenney and Vybe CEO Peter Hotz were among those in attendance. …

The chess team from F.A. Bregy School is ready for the big stage — we’re talking states and nationals. The doggie theme is being incorporated into the special menu, with Dogfish Head brews, hush puppies and hot dogs. …

Come next January, 29 bodies will be hitting the floor at the Wells Fargo Center as the WWE’s over-the-top-rope extravaganza heads to Philly. The date is Jan. 28. Ticket info to come. …

Speaking of wrestling news, here’s a word that will likely be echoing around the sports complex early tomorrow morning: “WOOOOO!” That’s right, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, the former 16-time world heavyweight champion, will be in town for Wing Bowl 25.
