Police are hoping to collar three teenagers who assaulted a delivery man.

The Verdi’s Pizza employee headed to the 2300 block of Wilder Street at 6:26 p.m. Jan. 22 and spotted a man outside of the ordering address, Detective Danielle Tolliver of South Detective Division said. Two figures approached from behind, with one punching the motorist in the face. The lead offender grabbed the food and $15 from the complainant, with the trio heading northbound on 24th Street on foot.

The victim, who sustained a minor injury to his nose, described them as black, with the first being 17 or 18, 5-foot-7 and 150–170 pounds; having a medium complexion and a thin build; and wearing a black jacket and black shoes; the second as the same age, 5-foot-9 and 160 to 170 pounds; and having a thin build; and the final one as the same age, height, weight, and body type as the second.
