Police are seeking a male suspect responsible for setting two cars on fire in a Marconi-based parking lot.
The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance video related to a March 13 arson that took place on the 1800 block of Oregon Avenue at 2 a.m. The suspect is seen walking through the Sunoco parking lot carrying a red gas can, and minutes later, two cars were set on fire. A Nissan sustained heavy fire damage to the engine area and spread to the rear end of a Lincoln. The suspect then threw the gas can on a rooftop.
He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants, and dark shoes. Police have advised that if you see this suspect, do not approach, and dial 911 immediately.
