With the warmer days of spring looking like they are here to stay, many of us are drawn to those sweeter, hard-to-pass-up treats.
Some may refer to it as a “cheat.” Hey, sticking to a healthy diet, while important, can become a boring and tedious task.
For those seeking a sweet change of pace, Bucks County resident Betty Leach offers her Easy Ambrosia recipe. The easy part being that it only requires six ingredients and an overnight stay in the fridge. The next day is even better, as you can scoop it right up in pure enjoyment.
1 15-ounce can of sliced pineapple
1 15-ounce can of mandarin oranges
1 cup of sour cream
1 cup of mini marshmallows
1/2 cup of coconut
6 ounces of Maraschino cherries
Combine all of the ingredients together, and stir. Refrigerate overnight.
