Time to get Medieval

Here’s your last chance to check out the 2017 New Jersey Renaissance Faire at Liberty Lake Day Camp, 1195 Florence Columbus Road, in Bordentown. We are talking entertainment galore with sword fighting, fire eating, jousting between actual knights, circus performances and more. The event is taking 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. Visitors can purchase hand-crafted cloth and items. Giant pickles and turkey legs, anyone? Single day passes are $25 for adults and $15 for children.

New Year’s Day in June

No need to wait for Jan. 1 to come around again as the Mummers Brigade and String Band Show comes to North Wildwood. The fun begins with the Fancy Brigade Pub Crawl on Friday night (June 9). Fourth of July may be the most popular and traditional night to enjoy a fireworks display, but there is no rule against enjoying them throughout the summer. If you are spending Saturday in AC, cap off the day at the Jersey Shore by watching the Tropicana’s eye-opening Multimedia Light & Sound Show & Fireworks Show. Fireworks start at 10 p.m.
