Surveillance wires cut
Home security system was tampered with to interrupt video

On Saturday, June 3 at 9:30 a.m., a complainant returned to their home on the 2000 block of Fitzwater Street and saw the wires to their home security surveillance cameras had been cut. Surveillance video depicts an unknown person tampering with the surveillance system wires, causing the video footage to be interrupted. There were no additional damages to the property reported.

Stolen Jewelry
More than $30,000 in jewelry taken from a private residence

On Sunday, May 28, at 12:30 a.m., two unknown black males along with one black female gained entry to a private residence located on the 100 block of South Salter Street through the rear unlocked door. While inside, the suspects took assorted items including jewelry valued in excess of $30,000 and then fled in an unknown direction.
