Phillies catcher Cameron Rupp — hence the name — is stepping up to the charitable plate for a fun, baseball-themed night that will benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA’s life-saving mission for the region’s animals. There will be Phillies celebrity bartenders, an appearance by the Phillie Phanatic, adoptable dogs, raffles, games and more. His mobile operation has been cooking up pulled pork and brisket at events all over the city, including last month’s Newbold Jazz Festival.
