When talking about the great all-time leaders in Philadelphia Phillies history, Darren Daulton is one of the names that is almost a guarantee to make the list. He was the well-respected clubhouse leaders of the 1993 squad that advanced to the World Series.

On Aug. 7, the Phillies family lost the man best known as “Dutch” at the age of 55 from brain cancer. With Alumni Weekend taking place at Citizens Bank Park last weekend, it was only fitting the team, former players and fans used to time to honor and remember one of the all-time favorites in Phillies history. He was the third Phillies to pass away in what is turning out to be a very sad year for the Phillies family. Dallas Green, the manager of the 1980 World Series champions, and Hall-of-Fame pitcher Jim Bunning were the others.
