Here is a saying you don’t hear everyday: The Philadelphia …. repeat as league champions. The Soul, the defending ArenaBowl champs, will have the hometown support as they attempt to accomplish that rarity in Philadelphia sports — winning back-to-back league championships. Get pumped up for ArenaBowl XXX by attending The Fanatic Fantasy Fest, taking place in lot G of the Wells Fargo Center parking lot, 3601 S. Broad St., and just outside of Xfinity Live!, 1100 Pattison Ave. There will be live bands, interactive games and celebrity appearances. Noon-5 p.m. Aug. 26. Use ArenaBowl XXX ticket to gain free access to Fantasy Fest beginning at 3 p.m. Lot F, aka Soulville, will be the designated tailgate area.

For those who have yet to visit this 1,700-square-foot exhibit at The Franklin Institute, there is still time to navigate your way through this seemingly infinite repeating pattern of floor-to-ceiling mirrors. The two-day International Winefest brings wine ambassadors, producers and enthusiasts together to swirl, smell and taste samples from the world’s most prestigious wine-making countries. The Wine and Jazz Reception Under the Stars takes place 7–10 p.m. August 25. Wines from more than 65 of the most prolific global wineries will be served, complemented by hand-picked, award-winning cuisine.
