Taking Our South Philly Streets Back is holding a candlelight prayer vigil 7:30 p.m. today (Oct. 25) at 12th and Ritner streets. The organization posted a response to the incident on its Facebook page.

“As we try to make sense of the tragedy that happened right here in South Philadelphia last evening we have no answers. What we have are devastated families and a hurting community especially our kids! As a community, I think at this time we need to come together to offer support and try to start the healing process together. Father Casey of Epiphany will be praying with us and we will have some candles on hand but bring what you have as well. I think this is needed for everyone at this time.”
