Multiple shots fired overnight at private residence

The incident is possibly connected to Tuesday night’s double shooting that left two teenagers dead

The Philadelphia Police Department reported that shots were fired at a home on the 1600 block of South Juniper Street early this morning. According to published reports, the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Police said the residence is possibly associated with the suspect wanted for a double homicide that occurred on Oct. 24 in the area of 12th and Ritner streets. Police are holding the scene. The investigation is ongoing with South Detectives.
