Police Report: Officers seek suspect who robbed man, 68, at gunpoint

The Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance footage related to a March 2 robbery. At approximately 4 p.m., the victim, a 68 year-old-male, who is an employee for a clean-out business, was hired by the offender to do work on the 1600 block of Ellsworth Street. While at that location, the offender placed a handgun to the back of the victim’s head taking a Black Metro PCS cell phone, house and car keys, and a TD bank debit card, identification, and $30 from his wallet, police said. After demanding the victim’s and forcing him to lie down on the floor, the offender fled in an unknown direction. A short time later at 4:30 p.m., the victim’s debit card was used to make a withdraw from an ATM in the 1600 block of Ellsworth Street. Around the same time, the victim’s debit card was again used to make an ATM withdraw in the 2600 block of Tasker Street.
