Over the next month, the branch will provide free overdose reversal training sessions.
The South Philly Branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia, located on 1700 South Broad Street, will host overdose awareness and reversal training events over the next month.
Three sessions will be held, including on Monday, Aug. 13, Monday, Sept. 10 and Monday, Oct. 22. All three events will start at 6 p.m.
This free training on how to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose using naloxone is being presented by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
