Triple shooting unfolds near Grays Ferry

Three men suffered from gunshot wounds on Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday, Aug. 28, at approximately 6:59 p.m., 17th district officers responded to the 1600 block of South Marston Street for a person with a gun, police say.

Upon arrival, the officers located three complainants, including an 18-year old-male with one gunshot wound to the back, a 21-year old-male with one gunshot wound to the left middle finger and 16-year-old male with one gunshot wound to each arm and back.

All three men were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical center where they were listed in stable condition.

Police received information that all three victims were sitting inside of a parked green Honda CRV when they heard shots.

The males ducked down inside of the car, and when the shots stopped, they all exited the vehicle and were eventually picked up and transported to the hospital by the police.

This investigation is ongoing with South Detective Division.

The offender in an unknown male(s) possibly operating a newer model silver Buick Verano, according to police.
