Pirate Trick-or-Treating at Snyder Plaza postponed

Due to inclement weather, tomorrow’s event is being postponed until Sunday.

Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Goldenberg Group and Philadelphia’s 3rd Police District’s Pirate Trick-or-Treating event which was scheduled for tomorrow, Oct. 27, is being rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 28.

The Goldenberg Group and Philadelphia 3rd Police District invite Trick-or- Treaters and their families to don their favorite costumes and celebrate Halloween by uncovering pirates’ treasure throughout Snyder Plaza, Columbus Commons and Columbus North shopping centers.

Kids can meet Captain Hook, Mister Smee and friends as they perform a pirate training show. Their pirate crew will teach kids pirate magic, pirate exercises, sword training, the pirate oath and how to talk like a pirate. Every child will receive a pirate ID card and their own share of candy treasure. Halloween revelers will check in at Snyder Plaza, get a treasure map, then follow the trail for treats (or tricks) at restaurants and retailers throughout Snyder Plaza, Columbus Commons and Columbus North.

If you go, check in and get a treasure map at Snyder Plaza, which is located at East Snyder Avenue and South Swanson Street.

The event will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Pirate Training Show begins at 1 p.m. at Snyder Plaza
