Weekly reports reports regarding theft and other incidents from the PPD’s third district.
From Oct. 22 to 28, there were three robberies throughout the third police district in South Philadelphia with two arrests, bringing this year’s reported robbery totals to 183 with 54 arrests.
During this same time, there were 13 burglaries with one arrest, bringing this year’s reported burglary totals to 203 with 47 arrests.
Also, during this time frame, there were 10 thefts from autos, including one arrest in the third district, bringing this year’s reported theft from auto totals to 721 with 28 arrests.
The third district includes the east side of Broad Street to the Delaware River, the south side of Lombard Street to the north side of Washington Avenue, the east side of Sixth Street to the Delaware River, the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, the east side of Broad Street to the west side of Sixth Street and the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center.
