Weekly reports reports regarding theft and other incidents from the PPD’s third district.
From Dec. 24 to Dec. 30, there were three robberies throughout the third police district in South Philadelphia with one arrest, bringing 2018’s reported robbery totals to 222 with 64 arrests.
During this same time, there were three burglaries with no arrests, bringing 2018’s reported burglary totals to 243 with 50 arrests.
Also, during this time frame, there were 32 thefts-from-autos with no arrests in the third district, bringing 2018’s reported theft-from-auto totals to 894 with 33 arrests.
The third district includes the east side of Broad Street to the Delaware River, the south side of Lombard Street to the north side of Washington Avenue, the east side of Sixth Street to the Delaware River, the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center, the east side of Broad Street to the west side of Sixth Street and the south side of Washington Avenue to the Naval Business Center.
