Sanctuary Supper set for Feb. 6 at Le Virtù

The supper benefits the Nationalities Service Center, which is one of the region’s largest resettlement organizations.

On Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 6:30 p.m., Le Virtù, located at 1927 E. Passyunk Ave., will host the first Sanctuary Supper of 2019.

Sanctuary Suppers is a local organization working to “increase public awareness and support of documented and undocumented immigrants through education and action with the long-term goal of changing policy.”

Every six weeks, the organization partners with immigrant-owned restaurants to taste new cuisine while connecting with new people.

Donations for Feb.6’s supper will go toward the Nationalities Service Center, which is one of the region’s largest resettlement organizations.

Le Virtù has been acclaimed by Craig LaBan, who has called the restaurant a “heartfelt ode to the traditional flavors of Abruzzo…a rare blend of rustic charm and craft.”

Tickets to the supper cost $70 per person. There will be bar service but no BYOB.
