20-year-old man shot and killed at FDR Park Saturday night

The victim was identified as Nicholas Flacco of Springview Road in Northeast Philadelphia.  A $35,000 reward will be offered to anyone with information regarding the suspect on the loose.

On Saturday, March 30, at 9:57 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of Pattison Avenue by Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park for a person with a gun.

A 20-year-old male victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center by police. 

Police say the victim was pronounced dead at 10:17 p.m. The victim was identified as Nicholas Flacco of Springview Road in Northeast Philadelphia. He is the son of Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector of Internal Affairs Chris Flacco.

No arrest and no weapon was recovered, police say. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Homicide Detectives Division. 

The reward fund stands at $35,000 for anyone with information regarding the suspect on the loose.
