Census Job Fair at South Philadelphia Library on Thursday

On Thursday, January 16, Philadelphia Council members Katherine Gilmore Richardson and Kenyatta Johnson will host a Census Job Fair at the South Philadelphia Library at 1700 S. Broad Street from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting to fill hundreds of thousands of positions across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count.

Temporary census positions offer the perfect opportunity to earn extra income, while at the same time, helping the community. The results of the 2020 Census help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding are spent locally for schools, hospitals, roads, and more. So everyone must be counted!

About 3,000 jobs will be available in Philadelphia, and jobs can earn up to $25.50 per hour.
