A comic book illustrated by local artist Joe Paradise called “Infamous: Tiger King” based on the popular Netflix series “Tiger King” premieres this week.

TotalWave Productions is releasing the 24-page flip book on June 24th, featuring the drawings of Joe Paradise, a Philadelphia native who is well known for drawing caricatures at Philadelphia Phillies games at Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia.

The comic tells the biographic history of a feud between flamboyant zookeeper Joe Exotic and animal rights activist Carole Baskin.

The comic book will also include a page about the treatment of animals written by PETA Foundation Director of Captive Animal Law Enforcement Brittany Peet, who was also in the Netflix documentary.

Print copies of the books are available for preorder on Amazon and various comic book retailers. Digital versions will be available from iTunes, Kindle, Nook, ComiXology, Kobo and wherever e-books are sold.
