Marconi Plaza to host Overdose Awareness event

As part of International Overdose Awareness Day, the Health Department’s Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction division will be providing naloxone training at Marconi Plaza at 2800 South Broad Street on Monday, Aug. 31 from 4-7 p.m.

More information will be available on the Health Department’s Facebook page. Informational resources and training will be offered on different harm reduction approaches used across the nation and world. Purple ribbons will be provided at each training location to help honor our lost loved ones and convey that each person’s life is valuable and worthy of dignity.
