The national award-winning chef and television personality has announced a pair of new venues that will open up in the Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia once it opens its doors early next year.
The South Philly gaming and entertainment destination at 10th Street and Packer Avenue will be a hub for Fieri’s Taco and Burger Joints, which will operate separately inside the casino.
Fieri, who hosts the Food Network television show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” is no stranger to South Philadelphia, having visited South Philly spots Sidecar Bar and Grille, South Philadelphia Taproom, Percy Street Barbecue, Jamaican Jerk Hut, Hardena Waroeng Surabaya, Woodrow’s Sandwich Shop and Stogie Joe’s Tavern during the show’s current 13-year run. Fieri will now have two places of his own in South Philly to go with his more than 70 restaurants worldwide.
It’s also not his first establishment in the Philadelphia area, having opened his Guy Fieri Philly Kitchen and Bar in Chester in the Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in 2016.
“Philly folks know their food and I’m happy to be a part of the scene with my Taco and Burger Joints,” Fieri said. “Philly’s always been a big-time stop on the way to Flavortown!”
Both of Fieri’s restaurants will serve as key venues at the casino’s 10th Street Market, joining local favorites Lorenzo and Sons Pizza, Sang Kee Noodle Bar & Kitchen and Termini Brothers Bakery, which were announced as the first three restaurant tenants last month. More restaurants and establishments will be announced in the coming months, according to the Cordish Gaming Group.
Fieri provides the first big name to arrive without deep roots in the Philadelphia area.

Fieri’s taco menu will include items such as scratch-made tacos, salsas and guacamole paired with refreshing margaritas, a selection of Mexican beer and some classic Guy cocktails. At the Burger Joint, Guy will bring his mouth-watering smash burgers featuring the world-famous Donkey sauce, S.M.C (super melty cheese), signature seasoned fries and hand spun shakes.
