Double shooting at basketball court on Carpenter Street

A 15-year-old and an 18-year-old were shot on a South Philadelphia basketball court, police said.

According to police, the shooting occurred on the 1200 block of Carpenter Street at approximately 4:35 p.m. on Tuesday.

Both were transported to Jefferson Hospital. The 15-year-old was shot once in the head and was in critical condition while the 18-year-old was shot once in the side and was listed in stable condition, police said.
