A man was murdered last week on the 2200 block of S. 7th St.
Police said the incident happened on January 13 at about 1:10 a.m.
Police responded to an emergency 911 call for a shooting. There, they found a 48-year-old black male suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported by police to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:46 a.m. He was later identified as David Oliver, of the 600 block of Winton St.
A 43-year-old black female suffered a gunshot wound to the left foot. She was transported by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
No arrest has been made, and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active with the Homicide Detectives Division.
