Councilmember Kenyatta Johnson, in partnership with Philabundance, Independence Blue Cross and Terra Vida Holistic Centers, will host a free food and winter coat giveaway on Wednesday, February 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cassie L. Holly Court Apartments, 2100 Dickinson Street in South Philadelphia (corner of Point Breeze Avenue and Dickinson Street).
There will be 250 boxes of food and more than 100 winter coats, hats, and gloves given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
Interested residents are asked to dress warmly as the public may have to stand outside during the event. Face masks are also required.
