According to police, the victim was heard screaming at approximately 9:20 p.m., and police responded to the scene but could not find the victim.
The 48-year-old victim drove to the 1st Police District to report an assault from an unknown suspect, who had also broken the victim’s car windows. The victim was transported by medics to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center but died at the hospital at 11:18 p.m., police said. An investigation is ongoing.
