The 3rd Police District Advisory Council will be holding a Back-to-School supplies giveaway on Friday, August 20 at 11 a.m. at the 3rd Police District, 11th and Wharton Streets. New backpacks will be given to the first 300 children and all children will be offered school supplies and free ice cream.
The members of the PDAC are liaisons to help bridge the gap between the police and the community, which will help improve the quality of life.
