December 3

24K Magic – at 9 p.m. at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, 24K Magic, a Bruno Mars tribute show, offers a Bruno Mars concert experience with vocals, musicianship and choreography with hits like “Uptown Funk” and “24K Magic.” Tickets are $25.

December 4

Safe x Sound film screening – At 7 p.m. at A Novel Idea at 1726 E. Passyunk Ave., a film screening by Brianna Spause and Brian Walker of the Safe x Sound Film on inclusion, consent and diversity in the U.S. music community. A $5 donation is recommended.

Restorative Healing with TS Hawkins – From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Theatre Exile’s education director, TS Hawkins, will host the first online workshop of the 2021-22 season. Designed for actors, performers, writers and librettists to conduct a concrete dive into the voices, worlds, universes they have manifested and to make space to honor the intersections of the characters on and off the page. Restorative Healing with Diane Johnson – From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Philadelphia-based multi-disciplinary performer, artist, theater professional and advocate Noelle Diane

Johnson of Artists Heal will host Theatre Exile’s second workshop offering accessible and practical tools to incorporate healing as an effective device for restorative and transformative justice practice in theater and collaborative art-making spaces. It is designed to support directors, stage managers, choreographers and dramaturgs to embrace leadership within their roles, use restorative healing to build and grow community, and navigate a healing process that allows creativity as an artist and theater-maker thrive. Friends of Whitman Library’s Winter Party – from 3-5 p.m., at the Whitman Library at 200 Snyder Ave. Wintry crafts and activities to take home, seasonal treats and essential giveaways like mini hand sanitizers and gloves (while supplies last.) This event is for children, teens and their families and will take place outside in the library’s backyard. 

March 6

Matt Fraser – At 7 p.m. at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, Matt Fraser, America’s top psychic medium and star of E! Entertainment’s Meet The Frasers, will take guests on a spiritual journey with live readings. March 5 show is sold out. Tickets for March 6 start at $55 and can be purchased at or
