30th Annual African American Children’s Book Fair – From 1-4 p.m. at the Pennsylvania

Convention Center. The event is sponsored by The African American Children’s Book Project and produced by The Literary Media and Publishing Consultants. Promotional giveaways, prizes and games highlight the afternoon.

March 5-19

Philadelphia Auto Show – at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 500,000-plus square feet of automotive awesomeness displayed across the convention center floor, showcasing some of today’s leading vehicle manufacturers, fan-favorite experiences and exotics, and new features – something for everyone. Tickets ($10-$16) will be sold electronically this year on phillyautoshow.com.

Spring Fever Train Show and Sale – From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Penns Landing Caterers, 1301 S. Columbus Blvd. Visit 140 tables with a variety of vintage toy trains and repair parts for sale, test track, operating toy train layouts, kids activities, and door prizes for adults and children. Rock to the Future’s 9th annual Music for All Ball – At World Cafe Live from 6:30-11 p.m.,  featuring live performances from PA Blues Hall of Famer and original Black Cowboy Georgie Bonds and Rock to the Future students. Emceed by REC Philly’s co-founder and visionary Will Toms. It will also be viewable via live stream. Rock to the Future hopes to raise $50,000 to support its free music programs for Philadelphia youth.
