Bees Deluxe – At 8 p.m. at City Winery Philadelphia Loft, 900 Filbert St., the genre-bending band, Bees Deluxe, will deliver a dose of acid blues. Fronted by guitar monster Conrad Warre, who was a regular at CBGB’s in the 1980s and a founding member of the Brooklyn Beat, Bees Deluxe combines distinctive originals with fresh takes on less-traveled tunes by artists like the Three Kings, Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Joe Zawinul. My Big Gay Italian Wedding – At 8 p.m. at Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia, Andrew and Anthony are getting married – and everyone wants to “help”! My Big Gay Italian Wedding spins into a fiasco as everyone tries to have their way. From a saboteur ex-boyfriend to a loud, opinionated, outspoken Italian mother, personalities and culture collide in a music and comedy-filled extravaganza at the Live! Event Center. Youth Soccer Day – from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at FDR Park, free Youth Soccer Day for children 8-12 years old. The event will feature kayak tours (ages 6 and up), a meet and greet with the Philadelphia Union, giveaways, food trucks, a DJ, balloon artist and face-painting. Advance registration is recommended.

Stacey Kent performs – At Chris’ Jazz Cafe, international jazz star Stacey Kent graces the stage. Kent has racked up a host of honors and awards including a Grammy nomination, Platinum, Double-Gold and Gold-selling albums that have reached a series of No. 1 chart positions during the span of her career. Vaccine Clinic – Universal Alcorn Charter School at 3200 Dickinson St. will host a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Children are welcome for walk-in vaccines from 1-4 p.m. Parents are welcome from 4-6 p.m. Parent/guardian consent is needed for children.

Rock to the Future’s 9th annual Music for All Ball – At World Cafe Live from 6:30-11 p.m.,  featuring live performances from PA Blues Hall of Famer and original Black Cowboy Georgie Bonds and Rock to the Future students. Emceed by REC Philly’s co-founder and visionary Will Toms. It will also be viewable via live stream. Rock to the Future hopes to raise $50,000 to support its free music programs for Philadelphia youth.

April 2

Trans Art Mart – From noon to 7 p.m. at Love City Brewing lot at 1023 Hamilton St., Inaugural event in celebration of Trans Visibility Day. Market will include over 50 trans artists. $5 entry. Raises money for Housing Reparations Philly and Cars for Philly. Masks and vaccine cards required.

Dope Shows Birthday Bash – At the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia’s own concert promotional company, Dope Shows, is taking over the city’s biggest indoor arena in celebration of five years of success. April 10

Easter Family Day – From 2-4 p.m. at the American Swedish Historical Museum at 1900 Pattison Ave., enjoy a trick-or-treat-like candy hunt. Children dress up as Easter witches with long skirts, headscarves, painted red cheeks and freckles and go from house to house wishing people happy Easter. Introduce your little ones to Swedish Easter traditions and visit the exhibition Flying Blakulla: Letters from an Easter Witch. This afternoon drop-in program will feature crafts and the traditional egg hunt. Rain or shine. Admission is $10. Members and children under 2 are free. Event ticket includes museum admission.

Comedy show at Live! – at 7 p.m., comedians, Eric D’Alessandro and Vic DiBitetto will come together for the first time to launch their ‘Funny How?’ Tour at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. Tickets are $45, $55 and $65 and available for purchase at AXS.com.
