Philly Theatre Week begins this week, offering many ways to experience the arts at discounted prices.
Hundreds of theatrical performances across the region will take the stage April 1 through April 10 as the fifth annual celebration showcases the vibrant and diverse theater scene in the tri-state region, while shedding a light on the theater community’s resilience through the pandemic.

“We are so excited to showcase our amazing community,” said Theatre Philadelphia Executive Director LaNeshe Miller-White. “The 5th Annual Philly Theatre Week gives producers and artists an opportunity to connect or reconnect with audiences as we begin on the road to theater’s full return.”
Philadelphia Theatre Week will kick off with an event on the rooftop garden of the Kimmel Center on March 30 at 5 p.m. Audiences can see preview scenes, songs and interactive performances from participating Philly Theatre Week companies at Theatre Philadelphia’s first in-person event since 2020.
Greater Philadelphia residents will find a collection of classics, experimental theater, improv, readings, workshops and more. Audiences are encouraged to support companies they already know as well as use the accessible ticket prices to explore new theater they haven’t seen before. Participating organizations include a range of organizations, professional theaters, academic institutions and self-producing artists, including Kimmel Cultural Campus, Almanac Dance Circus Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Crossroads Comedy Theater and InterAct Theatre Company.
