April 10

Easter Family Day – From 2-4 p.m. at the American Swedish Historical Museum at 1900 Pattison Ave., enjoy a trick-or-treat-like candy hunt. Children dress up as Easter witches with long skirts, headscarves, painted red cheeks and freckles and go from house to house wishing people happy Easter. Introduce your little ones to Swedish Easter traditions and visit the exhibition Flying Blakulla: Letters from an Easter Witch. This afternoon drop-in program will feature crafts and the traditional egg hunt. Rain or shine. Admission is $10. Members and children under 2 are free. Event ticket includes museum admission.

Museum of the American Revolution 5th anniversary –  Marking its fifth anniversary with a naturalization ceremony, Quizzo, a selfie station, giveaways and more from April 19-24. For schedule of events and more info, visit www.amrevmuseum.org.

Percy Street Petal Procession Mural Dedication Block Party – from noon to 4 p.m. on the 1200 block of S. Percy St., a mural dedication of Percy Street Petal Procession by Mural Arts Philadelphia Fellowship for Black Artists’ 2021 Fellow Lindsay Bedford. The street mural will feature a procession of 33 flower petals in vibrant color. The dedication will be part of a block party celebrating the neighborhood’s involvement in the project and the mural’s prominence within the 1200 block of S. Percy St.

Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament – At the 2300 Arena, the next generation of Philadelphia boxers will compete across 15 weight classes to showcase their skills, stamina and agility. The winners of the Pennsylvania Eastern Regional Golden Gloves event will advance to the Pennsylvania State Championship. Comedy show at Live! – at 7 p.m., comedians, Eric D’Alessandro and Vic DiBitetto will come together for the first time to launch their ‘Funny How?’ Tour at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. Tickets are $45, $55 and $65 and available for purchase at AXS.com.

May 18

Dish it Up – From 6-9 p.m. at Lincoln Financial FIeld, Women Against Abuse Inc. will host the 14th annual event and women chefs will bring their finest culinary skills to compete for best dish of the night, selected by a panel of celebrity judges. This event is Philadelphia’s only women chef competition and attracts close to 500 business and community leaders and food aficionados. Former Philadelphia Eagle Troy Vincent and Tommi Vincent will be honored as the 2022 Advocates of the Year. Tickets start at $150 and are available at  www.womenagainstabuse.org/events/dish-it-up.
