A trio of local restaurants will be taking part in Action Wellness’ 32nd annual Dining Out for Life event on Thursday, April 28, to help raise money for those living with HIV in the Philly area.

Aroma on 3rd, My Thai and Villa Di Roma are among the over 50 eateries that will be donating a portion of their food sales to Action Wellness to help continue providing support for those dealing with HIV.

“Action Wellness knows that these are challenging times for the hospitality industry and that restaurants have faced unprecedented hardships over the past two years so Action Wellness is extremely grateful for the restaurants that are able to participate this year,” the organization said in a press release.

Since its founding in 1986, Action Wellness has sought to create a caregiving community that provides services to people living with HIV and AIDS. The organization’s first Dining Out for Life event took place in 1991, and it has since gone on to raise millions of dollars in that time.

In addition, Action Wellness will be hosting the Dining Out for Life Trips of a Lifetime Auction. Open from Thursday, April 21 to Friday, April 29, the auction will feature trips that come with deluxe accommodations and roundtrip airfare for two. The trips are donated from American Fundraising Foundation (AmFund), which is Action Wellness’ nonprofit partner.

The sponsors for this year’s event include AmFund, Avita, Exude, Philadelphia Gay News, Subaru and SunRay.
