Flower Show set to bloom on this weekend

The Philadelphia Flower Show has arrived.

The annual tradition spanning nearly 200 years returns to spacious FDR Park on Pattison Avenue June 11-19, taking place outdoors for the second consecutive year.

The Philadelphia Flower Show, known as the nation’s largest, and the world’s longest-running horticultural event, will once again span 15 acres of the park with exhibits, vendors and family-friendly activities.

Tickets are $50 for adults, $35 for ages 18-29 with photo ID and $25 for children 5-17. There is a $5 discount for date-specific tickets, and groups of 25 people or more can capture a group rate of $35 per ticket. Children 4 and under are free and there are family discounts available. Tickets are available for sale online at PHSonline.org.

New features include an Artisan Row and a Kids Cocoon & Play Space, along with all new food and beverage options with live music and a happy hour.

Hours of exhibits at the Philadelphia Flower Show vary across the week and a full schedule of events can be found at PHSonline.org. Some exhibits are at an additional cost.
