South Philadelphians once again remembered beloved South Philly boxing legend Joey Giardello at the annual birthday memorial. Kicking off the day-long four-part tribute, Giardello Statue committee members Fred Druding Jr. and Charlie Sgrillo joined famed Philly boxing coach Timmy Sinese in giving the Giardello statue, located at Passyunk Avenue and Mifflin Street, a real good cleaning.
