Yo’ South Philly Phestival on Sunday

The Yo’ South Philly Phestival Live!, a partnership of Live! Casino Hotel and Philadelphia and local neighborhood associations, will take place on Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stella Maris School Yard at 10th and Bigler streets.

“We are thrilled to partner with our South Philadelphia neighborhood associations to sponsor this year’s Yo’ South Philly Phestival LIVE!,” said Joe Billhimer, general manager, Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. “Before opening in the heart of the Stadium District, Live! Philadelphia promised to be a supportive, active member of this community, and a good neighbor to the families that call South Philly home. Being able to provide local residents and families with a day filled with music, food and fun is exactly what we had in mind when we made that promise.”

The festival will feature food, games, music and fun for the entire family, including an expanded Kids Zone, complete with a castle bounce, a giant slide, a train ride and play area. The older set can enjoy a mechanical bull and a mechanical Meltdown Jump O’rama.

Admission to the festival and parking is free. Rain or shine event.
