High School Fair coming to Convention Center Oct. 14-15

The 2022 Philly High School Fair will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Oct. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The fair will be held live after two years of virtual-only. Nearly 100 high schools will attend and potential students can complete applications on site

“Exploring the many high school options in Philadelphia can be a challenging task. The high school fair provides families with support and resources in one place to find the right school for their child,” said Dr. Stacy E. Holland, Executive Director of Elevate215. “The fair helps families navigate the high school selection process and learn about the various options available. With school representatives on hand to provide one-on-one support, answer questions, and help students apply right there on the spot, our goal is to make the process as easy and equitable as possible for all Philadelphia families to find a great school.”

At the fair, local public district, public charter, private and Catholic high schools will be set up with information booths, staffed by representatives who can answer questions for families and students. Attendees can learn about academics, activities and programs each of the schools have to offer. Students will also be able to utilize the fair’s Application Center, with laptops available to apply on-site to nearly all district, charter and Catholic high schools using their respective application systems.

There is no attendance fee, but registration is highly encouraged. RSVP at: eventbrite.com/e/2022-high-school-fair-tickets-400932809827.
